JOAN BROSSA Workshop. Special Edition

This Special Edition with wooden box, gathers all the creative books and games about Joan Brossa published by Cuscusian*s to celebrate the centenary of his birth (1919-2019).

With this "workshop" you will be able to create visual poems and object poems inspired by the work of the great poet and you will also be able to play Pillut Brossa, a fun card game created from one of his visual poems.

This Brossa Workshop is for...

...lovers of Joan Brossa's work, will find 29 magnificent visual poems by the artist.

...children from 6 years of age, since this is when they begin to discover the wonderful world of letters, and it is useful for them to experiment with them and rediscover them in a new and creative way.

...children from 10 years old, teenagers and older, as it shows us the incredible visual and poetic world of multiple meanings, double meanings and the richness hidden behind every letter and every word.

... all those who think they are not creative and are not capable of creating. 

Why I created it...

Joan Brossa is an artist of reference for me and my Fine Arts classmates with whom we created a collective called "L'Arbre, el Porc i la Flor". From 1995 to 2001 we edited story-objects and made artistic installations that included play and words as means of expression.

The year 2018 marked the centenary of Brossa's birth. To celebrate it and as a tribute, I created a series of creative objects -Abrossadari(o), Aplec and Pillut Brossa- in collaboration with Fundació Joan Brossa.
